SAFTEC manufactures LiFePO4 battery packs for RV battery brands, vehicle builders, and mobile power projects. We created this guide to help readers identify U.S. RV manufacturers, the brands or product lines associated with them, and the types of vehicles they build. SAFTEC does not manufacture RVs. The companies below are an unranked editorial selection, not a ranking by sales, production volume, or product quality.

How We Selected the Companies
In U.S. industry usage, RVs include motorhomes and several kinds of towable or truck-mounted recreational vehicles. “Camper” is also used for different products, from teardrop trailers to truck campers and camper vans. This guide covers manufacturers with identifiable U.S. RV production across those categories. It does not cover dealerships or businesses focused only on aftermarket campervan conversions.
We count a manufacturing group once, then show selected brands or product lines underneath it. That prevents a parent company and its brands from appearing as separate manufacturers in the same list. Company ownership and product ranges can change; the relationships below were reviewed in October 2026.
The Manufacturers and Their Brands
Alliance RV
Alliance RV builds fifth wheels, travel trailers, and toy haulers in Indiana. Paradigm, Avenue, Delta, and Valor are examples of its towable product lines. Alliance also acquired Midwest Automotive Designs in 2026, adding a Class B and Sprinter van manufacturer to its business. Those products belong under the Alliance entry here rather than a second entry for Midwest.
Forest River, Inc.
Forest River’s RV business spans motorhomes, travel trailers, fifth wheels, toy haulers, and camping trailers. Coachmen is a Forest River division, while names such as Rockwood and Flagstaff identify product families within its wider RV portfolio. Its manufacturing operations extend across the U.S. Midwest and West Coast. A list that counts Forest River and Coachmen as two unrelated manufacturers would misrepresent their relationship.
Four Wheel Campers
Four Wheel Campers focuses on truck-mounted camping products, including pop-up slide-in campers and lighter camper toppers. Its Woodland, California, facility is its main production base. Hawk, Fleet, and Project M are product examples, rather than separate manufacturing companies. This narrower product focus helps show why a “camper manufacturer” search can return a different mix of companies from a general motorhome search.
Lance Camper Mfg. Corp.
Lance manufactures truck campers and travel trailers at its facility in Lancaster, California. Its current site also presents Evolve trailers and Squire campers alongside Lance products. REV Group sold Lance Camper to Vision Kore in June 2025, so Lance should no longer be shown as a REV brand.
Northwood Manufacturing
Northwood Manufacturing is based near La Grande, Oregon. Its RV range includes Arctic Fox and Nash travel trailers, Arctic Fox fifth wheels, and Arctic Fox and Wolf Creek truck campers. The same manufacturer therefore appears in both “RV” and “camper” discussions. These names identify parts of Northwood’s product portfolio; they are not additional manufacturers for this list.
nuCamp
nuCamp builds its products in Sugarcreek, Ohio. TAB and TAG are among its teardrop trailer lines, while Cirrus covers truck campers. Its smaller vehicle formats differ considerably from a large motorhome, even though both are used for recreational travel. That variety is one reason a manufacturer list should state vehicle types instead of treating every company as a direct product equivalent.
Oliver Fiberglass Products
Oliver Travel Trailers are manufactured by Oliver Fiberglass Products in Hohenwald, Tennessee. The company specializes in molded-fiberglass travel trailers, including the Legacy Elite line. “Oliver” is the name buyers are likely to recognize, while Oliver Fiberglass Products identifies the manufacturing operation behind the trailers. We present them together as one entry.
REV Recreation Group
REV Recreation Group is now part of Terex. Its current RV portfolio includes American Coach, Fleetwood RV, Holiday Rambler, and Renegade RV, with a focus on motorized vehicles. Lance Camper and Midwest Automotive Designs appeared in older descriptions of the group, but both businesses have since been sold. Checking ownership dates is essential when comparing RV manufacturer lists.
THOR Industries
THOR Industries is a parent group with numerous North American RV manufacturing businesses. Airstream, Jayco, Keystone, and Thor Motor Coach are examples within its portfolio. Together, these businesses cover towable RVs, motorhomes, and camper vans. This article counts THOR once at the group level; its individual businesses and brands help readers understand the range of vehicles represented by that entry.
Winnebago Industries
Winnebago Industries includes the RV brands Winnebago, Grand Design, and Newmar. Across these brands, the company offers motorhomes, travel trailers, and fifth wheels. Winnebago Industries also owns marine businesses, which are outside the scope of this RV guide. Counting the parent group once keeps its RV brands visible without inflating the number of manufacturers.
Why the Vehicle Type Matters for a House Battery
A company name alone cannot tell an RV builder which house battery a particular vehicle needs. A compact truck camper, a travel trailer, and a motorhome can have different installation space, charging sources, and electrical loads. Before specifying a LiFePO4 pack, the vehicle builder or system integrator should confirm:
- The required system voltage, usable energy, and expected time away from shore power.
- Continuous and short-duration current demands from the inverter and connected equipment.
- Charging behavior from shore power, solar, and any vehicle-based charging system.
- Battery location, dimensions, terminal access, vibration exposure, and operating temperature.
- BMS protection, communications, documentation, and sample-validation requirements.
SAFTEC’s RV lithium battery manufacturing program supports discussions around pack voltage, capacity, enclosure, BMS, terminals, heating, labeling, and repeat OEM supply. Those choices should be based on the vehicle’s electrical design, not on the RV brand name alone.
Conclusion
The U.S. RV market includes large multi-brand groups and specialists building trailers, motorhomes, teardrops, and truck campers. Looking at the manufacturer, its brands, and its vehicle types together gives a clearer picture than mixing all three levels into one ranking.
