up to 6,000 cycles under standard test conditions (25℃, 0.5C, 80% DOD), but real results depend on depth of discharge, temperature, and charge profile. Saftec tests each batch for cycle validation and provides reports for OEM projects.
What chargers and voltages are recommended for LiFePO4?
LiFePO4 packs use CC/CV charging. A 12V pack targets ~14.2–14.6V. No equalization charge is needed, and float is optional (~13.6V). Saftec advises charger setup for solar controllers, DC-DC, or inverter-chargers.
Can LiFePO4 batteries be shipped internationally?
Yes, but only with full UN38.3 test reports and MSDS. Saftec provides certified packaging for both air and sea freight, preventing customs delays.
Can LiFePO4 batteries work in cold climates?
Discharge works down to –20°C, but charging is limited below 0°C. Saftec offers low-temperature BMS with heating elements for reliable winter operation.
